sdid: Updated Synthetic Difference-in-Differences Estimation and Inference
Synthetic difference-in-differences, synthetic control and difference-in-differences estimates of the average treatment effect on the treated in panel data, following Arkhangelsky, Athey, Hirshberg, Imbens and Wager (2021) <doi:10.1257/aer.20190159> and the Stata implementation of Clarke, Pailanir, Athey and Imbens (2024) <doi:10.1177/1536867X241297914>. Supports simultaneous and staggered treatment adoption, bootstrap, jackknife and placebo inference, covariate adjustment, and parallel replications in compiled code. Derived from the synthdid package by the authors of the 2021 paper.
